Michael Davies
He created his own consultancy company, Perspectives Pty Ltd, in 1986 where he specialised first in assisting people to develop the personal skills of effective communication, creativity, conflict resolution, negotiations and personal presentation skills. He also assisted them to develop effective teamwork through an understanding of group dynamics and team building skills. During this time, he became a mediator and trouble shooter for a number of organisations where his interpersonal and negotiation skills have eased conflict and set people moving in a new direction. Today Michael operates mostly as an organisational change consultant focussing on the implementation of change and the translation of new approaches into effective work practices.
Michael's key capabilities include process facilitation within the area of organisational change, a coach to teams regarding team dynamics and development and team member interaction, and a facilitator in the development of personal skills needed in today's workplace.
Michael's clients include The Australian Taxation Office, CSR, The Department of Defence, Department of Social Security, and The ABC. In Tasmania he has worked with most state government departments principally Department of Education and the Arts, Department of Treasury and Finance, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Department of Environment and Land Management, and the Hydro Electric Commission.
